Job Description :
Roles and Responsibility :

Create and maintain an enhanced data ecosystem to develop better data-driven business insights.
Analyse or extract usable data from valuable data sources.
Use machine learning tools to select features, and build and optimize classifiers.
Carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
Propose solutions and strategies to take on business challenges.
Collaborate with Business and IT teams.
Improve data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
Do ad-hoc analysis and communicate results in a clear manner.

Required Qualification and Skills :

To be eligible for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is preferred
Proven Experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
Good scripting and programming skills in Python.

Knowledge of statistical programming languages like R, and Python, and database query languages like SQL, Hive, and Pig is desirable.
Good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, and Cassandra.
Hands-on experience with data science tools.
Problem-solving proficiency, Analytical mind, and excellent business sense.
