Job Description :
Roles and Responsibility :

Test Engineer (Substation Automation System) will be responsible for testing of Substation Automation System used for various voltage levels in India and Abroad for different applications.
The incumbent will be responsible for different project phases understanding the client requirement, understanding of project-specific documents, preparation of RTU & HMI configuration based on approved documents, testing of the same and inspection with customer in the factory, support to Project Management/Engineering/Commissioning team for smooth execution of the Project.

Required Qualification and Skills :

Fresher/0-1 years of experience in configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Substation Automation products/Systems.
Knowledge of study of client requirement
Knowledge of different architectures RSTP, PRP, and HSR
Hands-on experience in configuration and testing of Ethernet Switches, Router and Firewall
Working experience on different types of communication Ethernet, Fiber optic, Serial RS232/RS485, PLCC, etc.
Working experience on Substation Automation and Communication Protocol SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC60870-5-103, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101 and IEC60870-5-104
Knowledge of reading Panel drawings/schemes.
Verifications of technical compliances of HW/SW systems

Hands-on experience in preparation of HMI configuration like SLD, System Architecture, Bay Views, Interlock views, etc.
Hands-on experience on RTU system (A8000) & Device Manager configuration and testing
Testing of SAS system and integration with different types of IEDs/Meters/Devices.

Experience in Customer FAT & inspection compliance
Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal
Critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving are an essential part of this position.

Enjoy learning new things and build a knowledge base in new areas.
Additional knowledge of the basics on the Electrical Protection System will be preferred.
Collaborating for new solutions and technologies required in the business to drive new products and offerings.
