Roles and Responsibilities
- Functional and Non-Functional Testing: Perform rigorous testing to ensure software meets both functional requirements and performance standards.
- Test Case Design: Develop and maintain test cases and scripts based on software requirements and user stories.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools; collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
- Regression Testing: Ensure that new code changes do not impact existing functionalities by conducting regression tests.
- User Issue Diagnosis and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported software issues efficiently.
- Documentation: Create and maintain user manuals, SOPs, and other technical documents to aid internal teams and users.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients to gather information, provide technical support, and resolve queries.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and bug-tracking tools.
- Basic understanding of software troubleshooting and technical support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Experience with test case design and execution (preferred).
- Familiarity with software testing tools like Selenium, JIRA (preferred).
- Experience in providing technical support in a SaaS/software environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or customer support methodologies (advantageous).
- Basic programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, or similar (preferred but not required).
