Job Description :
Roles and Responsibility :

Defining and implementing Project Strategies covering all testing activities within each project
Represent testing at all key project meetings and provide a single point of accountability and escalation for testing within the project
The development and ownership of testing documentation in line with HSBC standards
Managing the risk and the quality of deliverables against scope, budget and schedules
Provide on-going input into the overall process improvement of the Testing discipline within CDD
Establish effective working relationships with other areas of HSBC related in the end-to-end testing cycle (e.g., Business, Information Security & Risk, Change Delivery etc)
Provide the testing sign-off and recommendations for the production release
Ensure development projects are delivered on time, meet business requirements, and fulfil end-user requirements. Assist with identifying and resolving systems issues.
Implement, maintain, and improve test team principles and strategy that address all aspects of the Test process.
Ensure the test function follows an auditable robust process where controls can be evidenced.
Enhance processes without adding unnecessary red tape or admin overhead.
Ensure test automation is used effectively to minimise test cycle timescales while maintaining high quality standards.

Provide regular reports to senior management to demonstrate progress of the test function.
Promote and advocate test capabilities internally
Take responsibility for talent, succession planning and able to manage federated test teams

Required Qualification and Skills :

Hands on IT software test management experience. Experience in test management, test automation, Cloud testing.
Familiar with using popular testing tools, e.g. Selenium, TOSCA, JIRA, HP ALM, TestNG, Rest Assure, Agile, JIRA etc.
Well understand software development and testing process, quality standard of testing deliveries and testing techniques knowledge. Experience in Waterfall and Agile projects.
Well understand DevOps and CI/CD.
Strong test automation project management skills. Experience in managing automation project with cross location teams. Capable to lead the testing team to achieve the delivery target.
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skill.
Strong sense of ownership to the testing deliveries. Capable to spot out test efficiency improvement areas and implement the improvement.
Capable to ask for buy-in from senior management and business, and timely report the progress.
