Roles and Responsibilities :
As an Apprentice at CGI, you will be responsible for:
- Automation & Scripting: Developing and maintaining automation scripts for testing using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Assisting in integrating testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless automated testing upon each code commit.
- Environment Management: Maintaining and improving test environments for stability and reliability, working closely with DevOps teams.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Analyzing test results, investigating failures, and collaborating with developers to ensure smooth execution.
- Test Data Management: Creating, validating, and maintaining test data for diverse test scenarios.
- Collaboration: Engaging with developers, QA engineers, and operations teams to optimize test execution across different platforms.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
To be eligible for this role, you should possess:
- Programming Proficiency: Python
- Automation Testing: Robot Framework
- DevOps Knowledge: Experience or understanding of DevOps practices
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins
