Job Description :
Roles and Responsibility :

Engage with product owners to understand business priorities and what clients need. Accordingly, deliver field-enabled and scalable products in a consultative manner.
Develop through iterative prototyping new insights solutions using your data and insights generation expertise, using tools like MS Power Platform, HIVE, Python, SQL, and VBA.
Drive improvement to existing insights tools by understanding how clients use the insights products and provide new design and insights recommendations to the Insights Product Management team.
Enable data-driven actionable insights for field & clients to enable growth and retention.
Conduct prototyping of insights products and services based on client needs.
Create alternate revenue streams by monetizing insights products.
Conceptualize and develop client-facing insights solutions.
Strengthen solution algorithms to make them industry-leading insights products for American Express through internal and external research.
Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role’s agenda to enterprise priorities, and balance customers’ requirements, partners, colleagues & shareholders.
Lead with an external perspective, challenge the status quo, and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings.
Demonstrate learning agility, and make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity.
Drive process excellence framework in the team to achieve process automation and improve individual and group productivity.

Required Qualification and Skills :

To be eligible for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Operations Research.
Data Analytics or Other Data handling experience (Hands-on experience: SQL/SAS/Hive/ Python/ MS Power Platform).
Hands-on development in the Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven apps), Power Automate, etc.
Deep understanding of machine learning/statistical algorithms such as deep learning and forecasting. Experience with data visualization is a plus.
Ability to transform KPIs into insightful practical information.
Experience in large data processing and handling and a deep understanding of data science is a plus.
Strong communication skills, able to explain complex algorithms and results to business partners in simple terms.
Exceptional execution skills – be able to resolve issues, find opportunities, define success metrics, and get results.
